Everyday people

Sci-fi civilians
15mm

I am no better and neither are you
We are the same whatever we do

Sure, the swashbuckling space smugglers, adventurers, alien death bots, and heavily armored troopers get all the glory... but somebody has to live in the universe of the shiny spacey future.  Those somebodies are all the workers, merchants, spacers and countless other "little people".  And they deserve their own figures :)

I had a lot of fun with these; I think they turned out as real little characters, all unique.  The minis are from CP models and Ground Zero Games, with a few light conversions.

Come and play, everything's a-okay
Friendly neighbors, yes that's where we meet
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

  2. Great characters and painting! They could be from "Hitch-hiking the Galaxy" book characters :)

    1. Thanks! I did try to avoid any specific references, but yes, HHGG and Star Wars are probably both in the mix :)

    1. Glad you like them! Bases are 100% courtesy of "Instant Mold" - the slatted "Sulaco" style are copied from a tissue embedding cassette from work, and the other smoother style are textures from a toy some kid left in our yard once XD

  4. Great choice of miniatures and superb paintjobs. They should add some spice where ever you use them!

  5. Love the blue... girl? Somehow she/it screams out loud 'I'm a civilian'. The other ones may pass for Mos Eisley fellows or space convicts but something takes the blue apart from the crowd. Maybe it's the posse but I bet it's the pattern you pained in her dress.

Color combo is also super, straight outta 5th Element weirdo bunch.

Man, your collection as it is by now is begging to be played with.
