In keeping with this guy's post-apocalyptic or steampunk character, the base is supposed to resemble very rusted iron/steel plates, with shiny metal showing from recent wear. I don't really like how his goggles turned out, they look too bright, I think.

Really good looking so far. The reds are very deep and work awesome with the bone white on his cloth. Interesting figure :)
