A Touch of Evil

Evil-Lyn
28 mm

Without warning you're here
Like magic you appear
I taste the fear

If Skeletor is the magical brawn among Eternia's villains, Evil-Lyn is the brains.  Though a lesser sorcerer in terms of raw power, she's nevertheless much more intelligent than Skeletor, and is more than willing to work on her own or even secretly against him to further her own self-interest.  Her staff allows her to channel her dark magic into powerful energy blasts.

Evil-Lyn is a Quest Miniatures figure.

"You know, hero, if we set aside our differences, we could get something we both want..."
"Uh... Pockets?"
"Pockets!"

  1. Really nice paint-job, Allison. Absolutely top notch, and the bottom 'in combat' pic looks excellent too. Great posting :-)

  4. I'm not keen on how the face was sculpted. The way her flesh tone looks next to Teela's is great.

LoL, pockets. A thing unseen in Eternia since the jeanstealer invasion.

Is there a Fisto miniature out there?

    1. Funny you should mention Fisto... It looks like he might be working on that XD

I definitely tried to make her contrast with Teela. The original action figures of Evil-Lyn had a ghastly-looking and super problematic yellow skin that I didn't have any desire to replicate. Here she really just has the same tone as Man-At-Arms has, and He-Man will once I'm done that. In comparison, Teela's just got that classic redhead's complexion.

    He fisted hard >:)

I know what you mean, plastic was single colored but mini painting involves finding a way to properly shade/highlight the color.

I've never been able to replicate that yellowish hue without ending in the diseased fleshtone alley.

    1. I've been trying to keep these guys faithful to the original look while not making them look silly, flat, or like toys. Not that easy TBH...
