Zimone, Magic Researcher
28mm
Some magic users bumble about in dusty sanctums with dried frogs and herbs. Some pore through ancient books seeking to uncover the old knowledge of others. And some, like Zimone, seek to determine an underlying structure of it all: the reproducible mathematical patterns that bind together every spell from simple fireworks right up to demon summoning... the science of magic.
Zimone is a "Magic: the Gathering" miniature, and the chalkboard is scratch built. I had a lot of fun with this one 😁
That's absolutely lovely. Cosy even.
ReplyDeleteAre you familiar with "Science Wizard" from Adventure Time? She takes a similar approach to the mystical arts :D
How did you do the backdrop Allison? It matches the colouring and lighting nicely.
It's an AI generated image I found online, displayed on the Chromebook screen... Saves having to print things, and can produce some appealing bright light effects.
DeleteGlad you like this! I've never seen Adventure Time but I'll have to check it out and see what you're talking about.

Thanks! I tried that sort of thing years ago, but never got results like that.
DeleteMight be time to try again maybe.
If you fancy trying Adventure Time, then "Wizard Battle" (Season 3, Episode 4) is as good a place as any to give it a go, plus its on topic. Science Wizard features.
